Colby Memorial Temple

When I first came to the camp,
When I came to the camp the temple was called the First Spiritualist Church of Cassadaga and before that the Auditorium. The Temple has been on that location for over one hundred years and the energy is felt as you enter the front door. I have had the opportunity to attend the church and to be pastor and to live the religion of spiritualism. When I am asked why a spiritualist, I explain it gives me the opportunity to find my path and to set my journey in this life. There is always music playing around us it is up to us to hear it and to follow that inner voice to God.
Our service is divided into three parts the meditation laying on of hands healing then the inspirational talk and what sets us apart from other churches is the messages from spirit. When you sit and feel the meditation and allow yourself to take a journey it brings balance to your life. The healing is for Body Mind and Spirit so you do not have to be sick to receive a healing. The energy goes to where it is needed to allow your higher self to send it and to accept it. Then the Inspirational talk we have different speakers, but everyone can teach you something to elevate your spirit. Then we have the messages from the spirit world everyone has their own way of speaking to spirit allow yourself to be open for a message.
When I am in the Colby Temple I can hear the music from spirit and feel their presents around me and it comforts me to know that we live on and can visit our loved ones on this plane. We also have a seance room in the back of the Temple used for a physical connection  to spirit. So where ever you go in the Temple or on the grounds you will feel it and know spirit lives.
I have tried in the Temple to make it feel like your spiritual home a place to rest on your journey and a place to help others on theirs. Most of all to keep Spiritualism alive in our hearts and souls to allow the spirit world to live in each and every one of us. So venture in and rest awhile you will feel the pull of your spirit to start the journey  let the music play and listen with your heart.
