Seneca Park
A quiet restful park on Stevens Street, behind Colby Temple
Named for George Colby's Spirit Guide Seneca, Seneca Park is one of the largest parks in the Camp. At the center of the park is a gazebo that overlooks Spirit Pond. Mae Graves Ward was a well-known Medium in the Camp. In recognition of her service to Spirit for more than 50 years, “The Mae Graves-Ward Gazebo” was designated in her honor by the membership in 1986.
Seneca Park is a beautiful and natural scene, and a sanctuary for wildlife of every sort. Spiritualist have always loved to commune with nature. You may feel a sense of calm as you pass through it.
