Since first realizing his gift of connecting with and receiving messages from Spirit, Darrell’s motivation in further developing and sharing his abilities was to help others see that their loved ones who have passed on are still with them, guiding, loving and supporting them as they always did.  

And through that connection with connection with spirit and his gifts of clairvoyance (seeing), clairaudience (hearing), and clairsentience (feeling, or ‘just knowing’) loved ones and other spirit helpers can provide messages of clarity, comfort, and support from loved ones on the spirit side of life and guidance in life situations. 
 
Being a native Floridian, Darrell was born and raised in Key West. As an adolescent he regularly attended the small Pentecostal church on the island with his grandmother. Darrell has known that our loved ones survive physical death and remain with us since his grandfather appeared to him shortly after his passing when Darrell was just a teenager. And throughout his adult life encounters with loved ones ‘on the spirit side of life’ have brought him comfort with the evidence that they are still with him in his life, just in another form. But as he attended a variety of churches of different religions, none resonated with him.


In 2013 Darrell actively began his spiritual journey to understand, embrace, and further develop the special gift that he had been experiencing all along. He took classes at a metaphysical center in Atlanta, Georgia near where he lived and regularly attended ‘home circles’ with a Spiritualist Reverend, medium, astrologer and teacher.
Pursuing this interest in mediumship, he became a staff member at Metro Atlanta’s largest metaphysical, psychic, mediumship training and practice center. Darrell attended classes, taught classes, presented to groups, and became known as the ‘staff medium’ to clients and a core group of psychics and metaphysical practitioners. Through that center and his burgeoning private practice in Atlanta, Darrell provided hundreds of in-office and telephone sessions for clients in-person and from coast to coast.


Darrell received his MBA on the university campus of the University of South Alabama (Mobile, AL) and was later accepted as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Then in 2019, he followed an amazing series of opened and closed doors and retired from 35 years in healthcare administration and relocated from Atlanta to his current home in Deland, 8 miles from Cassadaga. The Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp became his focus during that transition to Florida. Soon after relocating, Darrell was elected to the SCSCMA Board of Directors and was appointed as the Corporate Treasurer. Darrell worked through the Cassadaga Mediumship educational and training program to become certified as a Cassadaga certified medium and shortly after completed work to become a Cassadaga certified spiritual healer. He is now in the Cassadaga Ministerial Program as a Licentiate Minister and can be seen at our various church services and message services.
