Rev. Ben Cox comes originally from
Orlando, the only son of an old Southern family, which was
one of the founding families of Orlando. The family
was Methodist, so that is where he began this journey.
 Throughout
his life, he has sought Truth, so he moved to the Lutheran
Church and later to the United Church of Christ. He
first visited Cassadaga in 1989, and within ten minutes, he
knew he was home.
Rev. Ben was certified as a
medium in 1996, and ordained as a Spiritualist minister in
2002, and certified as a healer in 2008. He is the
former Associate Pastor of the Colby Memorial Temple and the
former Music Director. He holds degrees from Stetson
University in Music Performance and Music Education. He is retired from 36 years in the Lake County
School System, and has earned a Masters of Liberal
Studies degree at Rollins College in Winter Park.
Ben is available for readings, seances, and as a lecturer
and teacher. He also conducts tours of Cassadaga on
the weekends and during the week by request. Ben looks
